this n8 we did well, rlly. we tried 2 setups:
first: sorc (areys) cler (tom) friar (barney) minst (mikke/speedbot) cabby (ducyx) wiz (thaeramas) theurg (nordicxs) arms (nightswaffel). it worked well: we killed all in 8 vs 8 and we could also kill more then 8 sometimes.
we missed rapa but never mind, hes bodysorc can be into this setup instead of arms or wiz.

second: almost same fg but with merc instead of wiz, was hawkj, u remember him from last year. then, a pushin grp, not a kite anymore.

they worked well. the only problem of pushin hybrid grp is that if we inc more then 1 fg, merc will die 100%, will be hard to kite cause we are pushin and we will die... or not, with a miracle.

i'm thinkin the best setup is the first, with 1 tank, never mind if arms or merc, but it MUST be a peeler, not a rushing 1.
(even if i prefer an arms-->usually casters of other grp take extender target as assist, and an arms is hard to kill, especially a good 1, while a merc can be easily killed if the enemy casters are spreadin well; then with an arms, while the casters are tryin to kill him, we can spread and focused on rupt and engage push)

if anyone wants to play merc (like rapa or dani) is good for me, but before to do it, u must think u have to peel the last extended target on us while we're kitin. it seems simple but.... it's not. i rlly see few tanks able to do it, then think about it and decide who gonna play it! i think anyway evryn8 from now we will grp a tank in grp, our setup will be:

sorc cler friar minst theurg cabby bodysorc/wiz arms/merc.

Agreed, it makes us alot more versatile and i agree, the arms may have alot more survivability vs casters then a merc, but its worse at interupting.. still, both might work, and the one might be better then the other vs different groups.

Btw, i have both merc (rr5+) and a arms templated if you dare to try me on them^^

Yea nice! We will try your arms as slam bot in the back against tank grp and as pusher against caster!!!!

I'd rather a lvl 1 pug merc than you.

Ok on monday we will do:

If we have more then 2 tanks on us behind, arms will help back, and arms + minst push with cler behind. We will not kite, but push and spreadin out.

If it will not work, we will change ducky to ducyx, and it will becom a kite grp + arms peeler.

that's pretty much I beat RLs setup, except the wiz is a tic/tank/BG, works well but the tanks are the ones doing most of the dps so they need high rr, gonna be fun with rr1 ducky ;/

If it won't work he will come back to cab!!
