My pov, I learned something new from it, my pet gets confused and randomly attacks the mezzed chanter pet at the start which puts it in range of their casters so it dies... didn't know confuse worked like that on charmed pets, I'll definately try my own confuse on enemy pets and see if it works the same... With pet down I play too defensive when we need to push later on.

And here's the pov from mr friar

So imo vs mirrors, hybrids or anything that istn't heavily tank-focused setups we can hold our ground and even push rather than extend like we do vs most groups even if they have the same setup. We are equally as strong when we push as when we kite since we have the merc which is a more offensively oriented role rather than a bg arms, and minst merc > 2x det9 banelords like the hib grp had; can lock down those 3 casters np and we can get pets out on support/casters that don't/can't get cleared provided the enemy tanks/bard don't fk us up too hard, which i don't think they will/would've.

dude your video quality is bad!

I imagine the rendering goes pretty fast and the file size is small, but it looks like sh*t! the way to do it is to render in 720/1080p, and you do that by setting the render settings correctly which depends on what kind of program u use to edit, but should be google'able/youtube'able.

You do pretty much what a friar should do with the heals/cures and position is good too I think.

Also you have a nice big group window in the middle of ur screen yet you target people to heal with the smaller one to the left and cure ns with the middle one?... Explain this to me it's hard to see ^^ the middle one should be enough I think it'd result in faster mechanics all around.

For having played friar for 2 days (in 8man nf) it looks good, things to improve on is panning, although you already do it alot it's one of the things that never hurt the more u do of it, and it's one of my goals to work on as well so even if you're God u can be better at it.

yeah i know the qual is realy shit, should be fixed for next vid :d ( thanks for the realy hard tutorial tom Very Happy )

About the window i've used the small one for about 10 years so the big one is there to reminde me i gota use it, but 10 years of automated hand moveings to the lower left corner is hard to change, so there is no better reason for that.

nov 28 footage..

So good fights no other comments than on this last fight against the caster group we couldnt kill.

General:

1) cant have merc die on inc here... dont need to pull out weapons except on tanks almost this entire fight(i know you know this just pointing it out)

2) imo we need to be patient and wait on pets. make a priority of their buffed controlled pets and we win... bd pets stayed alive in both of our fights and imo turned the fight for them.

Specifics:

1) @ 13:17 this shaman must die instantly... I vote merc/minst push somewhat (merc charge in and banelord<which I think you did> and then come out) no excuse for this shaman to live through an entire stun way up front without dying

2) @13:18 tom obv wait till we have a little bit better handle on the fight to send pet in (again i know you know this but just pointing it out)

3) @13:30 skald is way way pushed again all by himself. I would have liked to have seen him trained here even if it is not an ideal target make him blow phase-shift. vs a good group the fight will last long enough where it is important to make them blow toys early and outlast them

4) @14:15 merc doesnt die a fast death... no1 else has taken substancial damage up to this point. Healers if you have a pet on you do what you can to keep him alive or if you can see him going down and know he is going to die dani you need to reposition yourself for a PR from max range... no excuse for him to get left behind here. All that is really in our face is a skald/zerk and everything else is ~2500 units away.

5) 14:55 their backline is in range for a mezz. dps first but just a thought

6)15:25 4 of us get hit with 1 aoe spell (myself included) we need to stay more spread

7) 15:33 our healers need to call out who is clearing nearsights so the other one can heal... 2x people clearing nearsights at same time is ususally a bad idea when they have frontload dmg

fight is just about over from there... but my thoughts.

good fights

pet stuck to me passive, this is what happens when I go up in the front to disease with day, it'll be first target. it pretty much got 3-shot cuz shitty yellow pet, gotta find a better way to keep it alive for longer.

Good play and nice fights overall, what I'd work on is something that's hard to do on a theurgist although it wouldn't seem like it if you haven't played one, there's a few instances when you're putting pets on something close that gets a spell off or even 2 bolts off before the pet reaches them to rupt (RM 5:45 and the shaman shortly after) , this doesn't get any fatal consequences but if you open with a nuke and then pet you'll deny this, it's hard to do since you're programmed to cast pets on everything on a theurgist and it's a split-second decision that's not always apparent but maybe something to look at trying to do more since it can both save our lives and make enemies die if you rupt heals on rare occasions. It doesn't even look like the RM sees you in this example so casting a pet is justified, but the shaman is spamming shears and an opening nuke here will save 2-3 buffs from being stripped, something to keep in mind.

...also I need to work on reading chat, driving, panning and trying to keep pet from not breaking charm makes me miss when people try to talk with me in guild chat D:

Here is my pov of the fights from 28.11

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB0f6pBnNmk&feature=youtu.be

what i have to say about gameplay is that my petplay sucks i only use it in some fights, further i need to use the debuffs way more often and i'm still most of the time in our mid-field and not in our back line where i should be

Yep, that shitty green pet only really comes into play if we're pushing on a caster grp and the sorcs and cab can send their pets in at the same time when some theurg pets are out to secure a firm grip on the fight... other than that just put it on the pushed pac healer/bard/druid/shaman, it'll probably die but it sucks anyway. As for debuffs you're correct use them more, especially on MoCed targets. Panning more never hurts, you do it ok but when you're mezzed or rupted you sometimes stop doing it, no reason to do that. Other than that looks good!

Again im more then open for ideas or criticism, but i cant really point out right now what im doing wrong cause then i obviously would already have worked on it.

ok thx for the analyze tom Smile
I'll work on that stuff especially on debuffing... I know how much dex buffs 'for e.g.' hurt when they hit me! I'm still doing the debuffs oldschool handmade mouseclicking style. I'm thinking about to change that and macro or qbind them but i'm uncertain how to manage it -.-
